Jenny and I left Colorado last fall and moved up to lovely Vancouver, BC. The winter was a bit rainy and bleak, but the summer’s shaping up to be gorgeous:
We’re both reclusive introverts who had already been working from home for years, so the pandemic hasn’t been too hard on us, relatively speaking. But we’re getting a bit restless, to be honest, and definitely looking forward to when we can justify recreational travel again. I’m planning a road trip up to the Yukon later this summer, while Jenny just flew out to work on-site in Kenya for the next few weeks.
I recently took a class at UBC with Alex Summers on formal verification with SAT solvers, SMT solvers like Z3, and intermediate modeling languages like Viper and Boogie. That stuff’s fascinating and I had a blast!
